(240212) -- ELDORET, Feb. 12, 2024 (Xinhua) -- This photo taken on Feb. 12, 2024 shows the wreckage of a car driven by marathon world record-holder Kelvin Kiptum which lost control and crashed along a road in Uasin Gishu County, northwest Kenya. Kiptum died in a road traffic accident on Sunday at the age of 24. Kiptum's coach Gervais Hakizimana, who was in the car with the Kenyan distance runner, also died in the accident along Eldoret-Kaptagat Road.
